Let's Farm! - Agricultural Opportunity in The Hawkesbury
Are you thinking about a future in farming? Do you want to know more about the business of farming?
Hawkesbury Council and Hawkesbury Harvest are hosting a joint forum on Agricultural Opportunity for people interested in pursuing farming activities in the Hawkesbury local government area.
The Forum will be held at 6.30pm, Thursday 15 May 2008 at Deerubbin Centre, 300 George St, Windsor.
Hawkesbury Harvest is local group interested in agri-industry and agri-tourism, encouraging people to use rural lands for agriculture in innovative ways and assisting local farming business with alternative marketing strategies in getting produce from "paddock-to-plate".
This forum is aimed at farmers and potential farmers who have access to rural lands, on which agriculture is allowed and who are interested in retaining, undertaking and developing farming in the Hawkesbury. Members of the public interested in agriculture
are also invited to attend the Forum.
