The library has organised a fun packed July School Holiday Program. There will be some great films as well as craft sessions. The activities are geared for wonderful family fun during the holiday period. The films being shown are :
Spiderwick (PG) 11 July
Alvin and the Chipmunks (G) 16 July
Water Horse (PG) 18 July
All movies will start at 10am and are FREE. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Learn how to make a teddy at the "Making a flat bear" on 15 July (10am-12) and learn the techniques of "Card making" on 10th July (10.30-12). Both of these sessions will cost $5.50 and all materials will be supplied.
The above activities will take place at Hawkesbury Central Library which is located in the Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street, Windsor. The library has been busy purchasing a great range of new books, DVDs and CDs. Come and pay us a visit during the school holidays and borrow some of the new items, there is something for everyone.
A free session on "Origami" will be held at Richmond Library on 9 July (10.30am-11.30am) Come and learn some ancient Japanese paper folding techniques. While you are at Richmond, check out the new renovations. The library interior has been enhanced and has new fresh spacious feeling. Additional PCs have been made available for the public, a total of 6 can be accessed by the public. Bookings are essential for all activities as spaces are limited.
