The Deerubin Centre Opening

On Saturday 25 June 2005 The Deerubbin Centre, the cultural hub of the Hawkesbury incorporating a new Central Library and the Hawkesbury’s first Public Gallery was opened.

The landmark building also features community meeting rooms, a community studio and commercial space and is serviced by a café within it grounds.

A Commemorative Booklet was produced to mark the occasion.

Opening Celebrations were very well attended and consisted of a formal unveiling ceremony and community celebrations and entertainment. To view a photo gallery of the celebrations.

The Deerubbin Centre is located at 300 George Street, Windsor. Underground parking is accessed via Christie Street. See Map below.
