Funding Available

Funding programs that Council has available

There are several funding programs that Council either:

  • provides the financial funds for OR
  • assists Hawkesbury residents to apply for other funding i.e. state, federal, clubs community grants etc

Community Sponsorship Program

Hawkesbury City Council may, from time to time, provide sponsorship to support activities or events which will benefit the residents of the Hawkesbury.

Council is currently calling for applications from residents or local organizations seeking sponsorship. The closing date for this round of funding will be the close of business 11th July 2008. Please read the Information Sheet and apply on the Application Form by the closing date.

Community Development Expenditure Scheme Community Development Expenditure Scheme
The Community Development and Support Expenditure Scheme (CDSE) provides funds for local community service needs and priorities. It is a state-wide scheme with funds from registered clubs with annual gaming machine revenue exceeding $1 million.

Area Assistance Scheme

It is funded though the Communities Division of the NSW Department of Community Services.

The Western Sydney Area Assistance Scheme (WSAAS) provides grants (up to four years) for innovative projects and partnerships that improve social and community outcomes. To develop your project ideas contact Council's CPO Michael Laing on (02) 4560 4437 and go to www.communitybuilders.nsw.gov.au/aas to apply.

The funding round has closed for 2006.
