The Young Citizen of the Season Award
Hawkesbury City Council has decided to introduce 'The Young Citizen of the Season Award' program, an exciting new program that will acknowledge exceptional contributions of young people in our community.
The Young Citizen of the Season recipients will be chosen every three months for their community service and commitment to volunteer work. Recipients need to be Australian citizens and Hawkesbury residents under the age of 25.
Once an individual is awarded the Young Citizen of the Season award, the recipient will also be in the running for the Young Citizen of the Year award. This award will be presented on Australia Day of the following year, in conjunction with the Citizen of the Year award.
To nominate you will need to fill in a Young Citizen of the Season nomination form available from Council, The Richmond Club, the local Richmond and Hawkesbury Central Libraries and on Council's website http://www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au/. There is no limit to the amount of nominations that an individual can submit. Please submit all forms to the Public Relations Officer, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor, NSW, 2756.
